Das Rezyklat

DAS REZYKLAT is a design studio based in Essen that was founded in 2022 by designers Steffen Hartwig and Dustin Jessen. With their workshop for recycling plastics, they have established the first Precious Plastic Workspace in the Ruhr region.

The studio combines all steps of plastic recycling under one roof - from material procurement and processing to design and production. In addition to their own products, Hartwig and Jessen realize projects in the fields of exhibition, product and interior design.

DAS REZYKLAT is internationally networked, but deliberately focuses on local and regional impact and shows how valuable design can be created from waste materials.
