Tim Schumacher

Tim Schumacher is co-founder and long-standing CEO of the formerly listed Sedo AG and is now one of the most important software and climate tech investors in Germany.

As a business angel and mentor, he supports numerous start-ups such as Eyeo, SaaS.group, Zolar, and CarbonCloud. He is particularly well known as the co-founder of Ecosia, the largest independent European search engine, which invests its profits in global reforestation projects and has already planted over 200 million trees.

Under the umbrella of Ecosia, he recently launched the World Fund, a European climate tech venture capital fund.
